President Day Outings

So it's very few and far between the days that i have off from work, This past presidents day (how is this a holiday) i ended up taking off and spent the day with my roomate going around baltimore thrifting, pinballing and all around awesoming it up.

And here's my roomate's voice.. listen to it, love it, hire her for amazingness singing for all your singing needs, seriously, this girl has pipes. Rara Holt

The best part of it all was going to the Pinball Museum  in baltimore and seeing the old illustrations on some of the older machines, a few of them were handdrawn and seeing the streaks between the brush strokes was pretty awesome and i like the visual stimulation, it makes my brain jump all happy like.

Here we go. . .

I like the womans body in this illustration, not because of the assets but because of the shadows coming from the monster shine.. tis dopeness.. and that movie was beast money too.

This one was cool, there was a little elevator that took the little metal ball up and then the pinball game became vertical, which made everything go super monster fast.. i scored a million points.. im going back just to try to get highscore.

This was obviously inspired by the beatles, the name on the drum says "The Bootles", this was the only one where i understood what players turn it was since the 1up and 2up would light up. . . i lost miserably. .

Before going to the main room there's a timeline of companies and i saw this one and the "CAPCOMMMMM" intro to street fighter 2 popped into my head.

The Roomneighbor . . .Rumnabur (coined by 181, you owe me 28397237 dollars if anyone reading this ever uses this word. )

Guns and Roses... im sayin'

I thought the illustration for this was awesome as hell, a machine gun guitar. I dont like nugent, but i like this illustration.

SEGA!!!

This machine was older then hades, love the colors and the illustrations. the paddles were too small though.
heres what im talking about, when i was growing up this is what i remember. This is what i remember the art of pinballs being, that 80's California Game, ferrari and cocaine art.

You can also time them out, here's minstrel man.. oyyyyyyy

The bartender looks like the kids in my new neighborhood of hamden.

Random Ferret , im deathly afraid of anything that resembles a rat.. this was a huge step.

I need these random trip days more often.
